José Peres, owner of Multiplan, launches sales of Miami Beach condominium

Moving forward with the construction of 57 Ocean, in Mid-Miami Beach, Brazilian billionaire José Isaac Peres, owner of Multiplan, announced the ongoing development of the project’s Sales Gallery. The center will cost $2 million, and it should be ready in time for Art Basel in December.

Multiplan, which is self-financing the project, plans to build an 18-story luxury condominium with 81 units, with prices ranging from $1.5 million to $31 million. Features will include Italian kitchens, 10-foot ceilings, 12-foot terraces, and private elevator entrances. Amenities include an outdoor yoga deck, a spa with a thermal suite, infinity pools, a sundeck, a pool bar and lounge, fitness center, library, amongst others. Arquitectonica designed the building.

The land where the property will be built was known as Marlborough House, which in July of this year collapsed during the demolition phases leaving a worker fatally injured. An investigation by OSHA is underway.

Groundbreaking is expected by March 2019, with project delivery scheduled 30 months later.
