After hiring contractor, Skyrise sets groundbreaking to 2019

Skyrise Miami, the 1,000-foot-tall observation tower, hired Plaza Construction as the project’s general contractor to begin construction in 2019 with a completion date set for 2023.

Designed by Arquitectonica, Skyrise Miami is planning to feature diverse decks, a “drop tower-style” ride going up to 95mph and an indoor secured free-fall system.

Panorama Tower in Brickell is currently the tallest building in Florida at 868 feet. When completed, Skyrise Miami will become the tallest in South Florida and will create competition for other developers.
