Video: Hard Rock Opens Guitar Hotel

Have you thought about spending a few days inside a guitar? No? Well, now you may want to reconsider your answer. That’s because the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel officially opened its $1.5 billion Guitar Hotel expansion last week.

The Guitar Hotel, a 638-room project, rises 450 feet, and it is just one of many other attractions included in the renovation. A new spa and fitness center spanning over 42,000 square feet, 13.5 acres of recreational water space with swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding, a luxury meeting and convention spaces add to the entertainment options, shopping, and more. The proposal, according to the official website, is to offer a unique “rockstar-worthy destination”.

The project is from the Klai Juba Wald architecture firm, with interior design signed by David Rockwell.

Hard Rock Hotel

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is located in the city of Hollywood, Florida. The site is part of the Seminole tribe property, and the expansion is intended to “redefine the South Florida skyline.” The complex was opened to the public on October 24th.
